Steve Barnard has 25 years of political experience including four years as a Sheffield City Councillor. He works with people in the community. During the past 10 years Steve has developed good links with many community groups in Sheffield. He supports local people to achieve their goals for the area they live in.
Steve lives in Sheffield with his wife and two children.
Steve was a Labour Councillor on Sheffield City Council. He left Labour as he felt that Blair was wasting a historical majority. 'It is clear Labour Governments create a society where the rich get richer at the expense of the poor. The Iraq War convinced me to find another party.'
