Access Fund

NB the information below is a general guide only as the Access Fund terms are being reviewed for 2025 Conference so may change before applications open in June.

The Conference Access Fund was set up to improve accessibility for members who would otherwise be excluded from Conference due to the associated costs. The fund is created by donations from party members.  Applications will open in June, when the conference registration system goes live.

The fund can offer help with three areas of conference expenses: 

  1. Conference fees 
  2. Travel: up to £50 
  3. Accommodation: up to £50 per night (max 2 nights)  

Conditions:  

  • Applicants are expected to cover the costs themselves initially, and to make a claim post conference (receipts required).  
  • To make an application, you must have been a member for at least one year. 
  • Members can only make one (successful) claim in any 12-month period.
