getting there by Train

From Bournemouth Railway station it is a 30 minute walk, a 15-minute bus journey, or a short taxi ride to the venue. Read more about getting from the station to the BIC.

The train booking window for the conference dates opens on Friday 11 July.  

South Western and Cross Country trains have offered Conference attendees a 20% discount on Advance fares. Most trains into Bournemouth are South Western, but there is a direct train from Manchester operated by Cross Country.

To access the Cross Country discount, please email conference@greenparty.org.uk to request a unique booking PIN.

We are awaiting the code for the South Western discount, which should be available around the time that advance bookings open, ie 11 July.

BUS and bike in the town

Several bus routes run near the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC).
The closest bus stops are:​
Bournemouth Pier – About a 2-minute walk (82 meters) from the venue
Beacon Road – About a 4-minute walk (232 meters) from the venue
Westover Road – About a 7-minute walk (425 meters) from the venue
Bournemouth Square – Approximately an 8-minute walk (471 meters) from the venue

There are bike racks located by the pedestrian entrance to the car park. 

Bournemouth operates a Beryl bike scheme offering bikes, e-bikes and scooters for hire. There are docks around the town, including South Cliff Road (approximately 1-minute walk from the venue) or on Bournemouth Lower Gardens (approximately 3-minute walk from the venue).
