The social media and digital content officer is a new position with the Green Party, designed to help take our social media content to the next level.

This is a unique role as it spans the national team and our Parliamentary Lords office.

On the national side this person will spend half their time working with the communications team and our social media lead, to translate party policy and messaging into engaging and compelling digital content, elevating the impact of speeches, events and media appearances across the party’s social media channels.

For the other half they will provide support to Green Party peers, working with them to raise awareness of their work through editing and captioning Parliamentary speeches and other content.

This role requires some flexibility on working hours to be discussed ad hoc with the national and Parliamentary teams as appropriate.
